As she damn well should. She crossed a barrier to take a selfie and put the panther at risk. The least she could do is apologize.

You have to respect her for putting the animal first, she could have easily tried to have blamed the zoo or the animal for her stupid behaviour.

Damn, imagine that, someone publicly taking responsibility in this day and age instead of playing the victim card. I love this SOOOOOO much. Good for her, good on her, and I'm so glad danger-catto didn't pay the price for her stupidity. Hope for humanity increased by 0.001%

The zoo even said, regardless of whether she took responsibility, they weren't going to put the cat down because she did nothing wrong. She was protecting HER territory.
