*bullshitting science for denial* No, this is aluminum, a metallic element so there was no thermal energy, just kinetic. Since a chicken can be cooked it absorbs the thermal energy instead of the s l a p, making it cooked and not splattered.

wtf? no. There would be as much thermal energy produced aganst the aluminium as with the chicken. the material does not affect the energy produced

High speed collisions are interesting.... But I find it hard to believe that a solid chunk of aluminum that size was ever in space...
