They're all eighth grade awards, how is that 4 years straight

Am I wrong or is the 2nd from right say 6th grade.

Maybe the school starts in fifth, or he had to repeat a grade for whatever reason

Maybe he was on the honor roll for four years, but this picture might be his awards for the four marking periods of this year (8th grade)

They used to do awards like that at my school. It could be for best athlete, best improved GPA, perfect attendance, most community service, etc. It doesn’t say the awards are all for the same thing, just sets it up to make you assume that.
