I believe it takes at least 6-8 weeks for the sperm to be depleted completely. There are a surprising number of babies born 10-11 months post snipping because the guy didn't bother to pay attention to his doctor. I even know a marriage that ended over it because of pretty much the same story, but the guy tried to force his wife to abort because "he refused to watch her carry another man's bastard". She had the amnio DNA test done, kicked him out before the results were even in, and filed for divorce literally from the hospital after giving birth.
