Well.... here’s the thing, there’s a difference between quitting and giving up. Many artists for instance create good works, and then.... I mean- The 6th sense has everyone abuzz about a certain young director who could have quit directing or quit trying to do horror/suspense movies instead of making bomb after bomb. Often timed it’s not until a person quits struggling to do something that they just aren’t gifted at that they discover somethig they are amazing or successful at. And well- let’s say you keep trying to run your life or interact with people a certain way and it doesn’t work, shouldn’t you quit doing that? When you have a dream or a goal, you can not give up on that, but quit trying to force things that just don’t work. And another thing is, from those examples- we don’t know what the world would be like today if those didn’t happen. For all we know it would be better, different, but objectively or subjectively better. You’ve just got to follow your dreams and ask...
