It’s amazing how many people believe that.

I was talking about Jim Carrey

I know. Carrey has severe mental health issues. I’m also troubled by how many people actually associate the zodiac killer with Cruz.

I know. That’s why I said yeah- he’s crazy to taunt the zodiac killer. Because as poke mentions, there is a long standing joke/meme which many people actually somehow believe.... that Ted Cruz is the Zodiac killer. The joke is based on numerous factors but boils down to “he looks and sounds like a sociopathic serial killer.” And is based partially on the humor of the absurdity that he could actually be the zodiac killer. To play off the joke some people started coming up with pseudo plausible but largely circumstantial and meaningless “evidence” and links that support the idea. And... as these things go... some people picked it up and ran off the edge of sense with it.

Nvm the fact the killings happened before Ted’s birth. I was a Cruz supporter in the primary, back when the media supported Trump as a way to undermine the republican primary. “News” outlets ran with the Zodiac meme so much that people were confused. The whole thing is insane.

I thought the whole thing was that Cruz’s father was a the Zodiac killer.
