I still love playing video games but I can’t find the time anymore. ;( that’s what they mean...

Less connected with your favourite characters.
You become less interested.
Until you take a day off and rediscover your joy
Also, well wireless controllers and ergonomic keyboards make this less of a problem, as you age it gets harder to play video games. Sitting there with your hands on the keyboard just strains your wrists. Sitting on your livingroom floor to be close enough to charge your controller is a terrible idea. Things kids have less of a problem with.
And the more you abuse yourself the younger this age sets in. I have a friend whose 24 and starting to develop carpal tunnel.
It's not that games are boring it's just that they aren't good enough for the discomfort to be worth it.
I still enjoy video games. Just less than I used too, and I recognize that I won't always

Then again I'm too stubborn to let anything go. I'll be probably be in a nursing home one day with crippling arthritis playing games in spite of the fact that they cause me debilitating pain.
