It’s a case of extreme sensitivity. When a group is subjugated and marginalized, and put to uneven expectations and treatment by society for long periods, they can become extremely sensitive to anything that makes them feel like they are being subjugated even if maybe they aren’t. I’m not saying I agree with her- I’m saying that’s likely where she is coming from. An aggressive response or reception doesn’t work well on people like that because they are behaving that way from feeling threatened. Aggression or anger will further make them feel threatened, and when humans feel challenged we tend to react competitively instead of rationally where it stops being about “truth” or “right and wrong” and merely about “winning.” The further it goes the more one loses “face” by “backing down” so they tend to fight harder.
The easy and simple response is that it is her, and every man or woman or persons right to choose on what if anything to do about their body odor, and if how and if they want to be around someone else’s body odor. You don’t have to use scented soaps, lotions, even deodorant. Heck, you don’t even have to bathe if you don’t want to. But other people may find that unpleasant. They may even become physically ill or unable to be in the same space, and they can’t help that. So I don’t expect anyone to not have body odor or try and cover it up, but I appreciate when they do because they aren’t the only person on Earth. The freedom is hers, and so are the consequences. That is what freedom is. You can choose, people don’t have to like it, but everyone has to live with it however it goes, so your character determines how you balance your choices against the needs of others, and I view those who don’t consider others in general as having poor character.
If you smell like rotten animal, you have it coming
Do you have a bathroom? Then use it
And nice try using "natural" as an excuse to smell like crap yet picking picture of a woman whose hair is pink and armpit hair is freaking rainbow
Yea, dying your armpit hair is totally common and natural. Sure, spend all your money on your armpit hair but taking a shower daily is just unbearable
To shame a homeless person who stinks is rude, to shame a perfectly normal person who didn't bath or wear deodorant and isn't an over exhausted mom is fine they should bath and put on deodorant and perfume
lol I mean like a average person you just meet on the street who has a home and hot water and money for things like deodorant and perfume and probably even HAS the stuff in her purse or in their car yet doesnt use it.
Me and my husband both grew up where when you go out in public you wear clean clothes and hair brushed and smell good. So we both have a spare deodorant and perfume in the car. Even our kid has a spare of one each in the car. She just began wearing deodorant and perfume. lol Hers is kid perfume it smells like cotton candy. It has a sicking sweet smell. I could never wear it but she loves it. She is in 5th grade and first time she we got it for her a boy said you smell pretty and she said it's cotton candy perfume and he said so it's a sweet as you. Of course she did like I would and said O shut up and giggled lmao.
But damn that kid is smooth. Lmfao
Where the fuck is it that this girl lives that it's even a thing that the women exclusively smell so bad so consistently that the men shame them for it?
'
I've met individuals who smell bad consistently, and pretty much everyone smells bad in situations such as leaving the gym, encasing themselves in a cloud of smoke, or using 50 too many "pfffts" when applying their perfume/cologne. If your body odor is repeatedly so offensive that you have MULTIPLE people telling you that you don't smell good, maybe it's not your gender. Maybe it's you.
...i tend to carry a bottle of deodorant to work because there are people that don’t seem to believe in it and I need to spend 8+ hours with them. I will have you spray it on if you smell like you’re fermenting. I don’t care if you’re male, female or other. You stink: you’re spraying on Degree. Either that or febreze. Take your pick.
And for those of you who might be allergic to the product or have any other reason, we have lemons easily available. You smell: you’re juicing up.
Sorry for commenting so late, but could it be referring to the natural smell of a woman's vagina? So many ladies clean it with soaps and douches that smell like candy, and some men have gotten mad when some ladies don't smell sweet "down there."
That actually can really fuck up the vagina and make them more prone to infections. But I guess if he likes the smell of bread that's not a huge problem for him
The vagina is a complex eco system that relies on a balance- not abscnece of microbial life to stay healthy. Lifestyle, diet, the types of clothing and fabrics one wears, and of course genetics play in to scent. Some people are more or less sensitive to natural musks than others- but at the end of the day sexuality has a lot of gross parts to it. Much like many other things- it’s sort of an implied agreement between adults that we all agree to put asides such trivialities for the bigger picture. If your gynecologist has given you a clean bill of health for your lil lady, then that’s all that matters. Not all of them are the same, and people like some more than others, but yours is what you have. Learn to love it as it is, and if you are concerned over odor- talk to your doctor, and don’t use anything they don’t ok. It’s not like ever penis looks or smells good to everyone, so get past it and Just be mentally and physically healthy with yourself.

Don't even try to explain anything to him, just leave. It's not worth it
