I love to listen to rain softly hitting a tin roof. Or it rain softly while a car is driving so you hear the slow sounds of the windshield whipers and the sounds of the car splashing into small puddlezzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.......
Omg lol almost fell asleep just thinking about it lmao.
Quiet is so much better than silence. Because silence is the lack of sound but quiet is sounds we all hear but never notice.
You can use infrasound- sound outside the area of what humans can recognize as sound, but barely within the limits of what human ears can actually pick up. It can cause discomfort or other emotions in humans. Similarly, certain combinations of frequencies can cancel each other out (mostly) but effect human mood. Of course- sillence is often used in movies, music, and even speeches (a recent somewhat polarizing figure is noted for this teqnique in a speech she made) when used with a “set up” and to break periods of sound, this can create varying dramatic effects. The closest to “true sillence” is best experienced in a controlled environment that usually requires some level of sensory isolation. Many report it to be a powerful experience. The isolation can be reproduced with many common items, however the audio equipment required for maximum effect is slightly above mass consumer grade and generally requires greater investments for dwindling perceivable improvements in results.
I just thought about someone playing a noise nobody can hear throughout their entire house so whenever a visitor came over they'd be slightly uncomfortable the whole time but have no idea why.
antiphase would require an asston of strength to make a whole house silent and would have problems in the fact that there isnt a break in the sound places by which i mean with headphones there is a layer of muffle between the sound its using the antiphase for and the speaker creating it. In a house there is no muffle layer and it would just be open space which, depending on a few things, could make it more difficult to do that.
