Actually, they are useful in double battles, if they have the two supporting abilities. It's like, Plus, and Negative or something, it increases both of their stats when they're both out. Plus, gotta catch em all, right?

it increases their stats yeah, but they still have shit stats and now you have 2 electrics that are gonna get creamed by a single earthquake. It doesn't even have to be a STAB earthquake.

In tier shift they're not bad with an air balloon. Too bad tier shift doubles isn't a thing.

ok... then they just get destroyed by a rock slide and lose their item. Is double air balloons even allowed? No duplicate items is like the one thing that seems to be constant across all forms of pokemon battles... otherwise and especially in lower tiers you'd just have assault vests everywhere.
