What is the logic of bringing up the t shirt price? Kanye has a legit point. If you go to school you need specific textbooks but you don't need a Kanye t shirt.
See this is what is called the difference between a NEED and a WANT.
A NEED: Something you have to have no matter what.
Ex: I NEED to pay my rent. I NEED these textbooks for class.
See a NEED is when you have little to no choice in the matter of how much you pay for something. Like you can choose where you live so you can choose how much rent you pay in that way but you still have to pay it. School books you can choose where to get them so you control how much it will be but you still need them.
.
Now WANT is something you DON'T need and can live without.
Ex: A new TV. Those new shoes. The latest iPhone. That $1200 shirt!
All not needed just you feel you want it.
.
Some times a WANT can be a Need.
Ex: I want new shoes. My old shoes are falling apart so I need new shoes.
But it doesn't mean buy 500 dollar shoes it means buy a decent priced one.
.
That is the difference between a textbook and a shirt.
Rent it from the library, pay a classmate to copy pages for you, look the info up online... get an earlier edition.... hell if they don't have them plastic wrapped, take pictures of the pages in an older edition from the damn bookstore <.<
There are creative ways around it. That being said, yeah, the price of textbooks is ridiculous.
I know about MyMathLabPlus and yes it can go fuck itself.
If you have a kind professor you can have them print it out and you can do it on paper though. You won't get the tutorials, but honestly, with how they fuck you over with answers I'd rather do it on paper and have my professor grade it to begin with.... shit woulda bumped my grade up 2 pts, better believe that. Shit is beyond stupid.

Yeah, but do you fucking need a tshirt?
No, a textbook is much more useful.
