Except if someone is goddamn late I'd rather they apologize for being late than thanking me for being patient....

I saw this about a year ago and started doing it cause I'm one of those people who say Sorry A LOT (and I'm always late). Up to today it usually brings about a more positive atmosphere and my friends know I appreciate them a lot more, I'm also less harsh on myself then I usually am which is nice. I'd suggest giving it a go
