What stress does to a chicken

That is disgusting. I eat meat but I dont want animals to suffer like that. This is why I buy free range eggs

Every single one of my 40+ chickens look are like the second picture, they have unlimited daytime outside access, and a flagstone covered cinderblock building to sleep in at night (the building acts like a giant solar hot rock, stays warm for hours after sundown.)

This could be BS. Usually my chickens look like the lower, when they’re molting they pass beyond that other picture and look like half plucked frog eating dinosaurs.

But does it taste different?

Wasn’t this proven false a while ago? I could be wrong, but I believe the first picture is just a photo of a chicken molting. I don’t think it was even a battery caged chicken
