People don't understand that hunting like this is actually better for the animal populations in game parks- the animals killed have been chosen by rangers because they are either old, sick, or a danger to the other animals / the hunters pay well over 75 thousand $ to kill the animals and this money is used for animal conservation.
Except that elephants are a protected species, and mondo illegal to hunt. So in this instance he did get his comeuppance. Though I agree 9 times out of 10 hunting is beneficial to the ecosystem, just not this time.
if the animals guest was talking about were not killed, they may kill many other of their own kind. most of the animals guest was talking about are violent or have a contagious sickness.
Agreeing with guests. Rights to kill certain animals are sold or raffled off by the parks and charities that protect these animals. People like this guy are not the same at all as poachers who illegally kill endangered species for profit.
You guys condemn this guy, but the fact is that much of the time big game hunting funds wildlife preservation and security in Africa with the large proceeds needed to participate in that. College Humor did a large factorial piece on that. I can't post the link, but it's on YouTube.
why on earth would a human even think of wanting to kill an elephant? you gonna eat it? mount its head on your wall? make a bed spread out of its skin? is killing an elephant gonna make your small dick any bigger? is it gonna make you seem tough and powerful? fuck's it for except destroying yet another beautiful, super-endangered piece of life on this earth like a repulsive little bitch?
i just don't get it. i don't.
Regardless of it raising money for wildlife, which I agree is good, I would have a moral dilemna with taking an innocent animals life which can't defend itself. I think that's one of the main reasons people have a problem with it.
