I'm good. Same old, same old... but not really.
I've traveled the world a bit but I've never managed to make it to Australia. My near future best bet now is (if I get lucky) to go there for book signing and/or convention appearances .
You been following along with the Beautiful Ray of Friggin' Sunshine posts? The past month has been... interesting, to say the least.
Sorry for the late response! I had dinner.
Cool - I really hope you can come. Despite our mass of deadly creatures, it's not so bad.
And oh, yeah I have been. Interesting is one way to put it. Wanna have a rant? I'm here to listen. :)
Dinner huh? Dang times zones and all that. It's dawn here on the US east coast.
Ranting? I'm kind of ranted out at this point to be honest. Between some of the conversations I've had here and (finally) being able to write again... I'm (mostly) good.
There's a deeper undercurrent, but all things consitered, I'm alright.
It's almost nine at night here. Time zones are honestly crazy.
Well, I hope you're feeling more than mostly good soon. :) And you write? What genres do you specialise in?
Well, if you ever need some help getting through things, I'm here for you
What I usually write is near(ish) future military scifi.
Recently however, I've been writing a acreen play for what might be called a romantic tragedy set in current time. You might note where that inspiration came from.
It's sort of therapy for me, after a fashion... though I do intend for it to see the light of day in some format.
@svitteh Not sure how specific you want me to get, but I'm from Queensland. :)
@smitty That is pretty awesome. And um romantic tragedies just remind me of dear Romeo and Juliet, but now that I think of your previous posts, I think the inspiration is a lot more personal
Chill probably isn't the word for any Australian state xD but yea it's a nice place :) I've been to qld a couple of times but it's so humid there I don't understand how you guys survive
I'd love it if they came to australia and the animals were like the animals on their home planet like 'ugh finally some normality' then all the aliens can be sent to australia when they wipe us out
I'd write it myself, but I'm a little... busy right now.
But dispite that, I still want to visit Australia some day.
Btw, how you doing ray? We haven't spoken in a bit.
And I'm well, thanks! I've got exams coming up, but meh. You?
