He thinks its even worse, but hes objectively wrong. People of culture know that hot sauce makes 75% of all food just way better. Regular, bbq or jalapeno style is the only thing to be discussed. M&C for example wouldn't work with bbq or green pepper style, but regular is just great on it. Or thai sauce for chicken, or Sriracha double garlic. In fact, M&C is the perfect side dish for delicious hot sauce. Ketchup is hot sauce for pussies though. But still cool on M&C. Its like cheese fries, just melted cheese on hot carbs. It needs a sauce to be a meal.
honestly, I like pineapple and Canadian bacon on pizza, and I respect the fact that some people don't like it, but do we really have to make a big fuss? This is like the tumblr/coleslaw problem. However, ketchup on mac n' cheese is a sin against humanity.
I only eat ketchup on Mac&Cheese when it's the powder cheese kind. If it's velveeta I don't. But the powder tastes gross to me (but my kids like it) so... yeah, ketchup saves the day.

This is poor college student's "cheese pizza". I don't like it but I don't see the problem with it because it "works".
I also am one of minority who likes Hawaiian pizza. Savory and sweet. - Shrugs.-
You think this is a problem, lemme just remind you that people also like ketchup on eggs

I love BBQ hot sauce on eggs, boiled (with specks of butter) or scrambled, with or without bacon. I hate it when there's no hot sauce at a brunch buffet, but I don't dare to bring my own.

I've tried BBQ and hot sauce, but I don't get the big deal with ketchup
