Im a single mom and I'm currently in the same situation of going to college and working full time so I can build a better life for my son. I understand her struggle, respect her commitment, and am extremely proud of her accomplishments

It's so tough. I remember when I would spend time for school I'd feel guilty about not being there for the wife and kids. When I was with them, I felt guilty about not doing things for school. I can't imagine doing it as a single parent.

I bet that boy will value education despite it not being given to him at no cost.
