Actually it's because the males cannot feed themselves and will die if they don't find a female ASAP. Really it's sel-fish-ness. Ha! See what I did there?
Anyway your ex probably has self-preservation down pat.
Well, she did always consider herSELF first (as well as last).
Btw, it's cute how you people assume so much simply because you don't like me. Has it ever crossed your mind that your opinion of someone doesn't actually negate everything good about them, nor does it change the person to fit your narrow view of them?
I thought you were attacking me with the self-preservation thing. Like she left to save herself and our kids or something. I get that sort of thing occasionally on here, so I maybe I was a little defensive?
The lady friend thing I can't figure out. She approached me last week asking if she could go see the new Bourne movie with me. The first day we were supposed to go, she was tired, and the next day her friend needed help taking her car to get a tire replaced.
On one hand I realize she didn't have to go out of her way to find me at work and ask to go, but on the other, the reasons for cancelling seem flimsy to me. I went and saw the movie on the second day.
Maybe I'm the asshole for that, but I have precious little time for myself these days, so that's the decision I made.

I can see how that would cause you to react that way. Hmm, if she showed interest in a movie, maybe you could try asking her to go with you to another movie you think she will like. That's great that she approached you.
Honestly, I just need someone cuddly to watch netflix and talk shit on movie previews with. I swear, that's the worst thing about watching movies single. Those damn ads take for-fucking-EVER when you're alone.
No, this is true, I went to school, have a good job, own my own car, but when I make any contact with a male I can see them getting poorer and wasting away. It's so awkward in the subway. I just don't know what to do with this power *sobs*
Girl: Oh no fuck that
Fuckboi: let me melt into you
I won't let go of you
I've got you shackled in my embrace
I'm latching onto you

I've actually considered going on one of those online dating sites.
