Your presentation there was as fact so you shouldn't use unpopular opinion memes for it, also yes it releases some of the lowest amounts of carbon per kilo watt hour but it also creates radioactive waste which we can't really get rid of at all and would have to wait for it to decay
Radioactive waste we can't get rid of...yet. By saying something is dangerous and we should shut it down, you also shut down all advancements to make it better. I'm very pro nuclear because I know we will have a complete solution one day, I trust in the ability of mankind.

There are actually ways you can recycle radioactive waste. Allow me a moment to find a link.
It produces less carbon for sure and its very reliable but solar and wind both produce less carbon and I think we should focus on improving those technologies rather than nuclear technology since we will create a lot of waste that could be harmful while we are trying to find a way to use it.
I think nuclear power is a good option and I'm by no means entirely against it and its a much better option than fossil fuels but I think our renewable sources should be expanded and researched more.
It's unfortunate that all the anti-nuclear sentiment prevents so much funding from being put into research. We could be so much farther ahead at this point.
And where do you go with the nuclear waste, which will be harmful af for environment and humanity for the next 100k years?
Too many incidents have shown that safety for such power plants is extremely hard to obtain and for nuclear power we should not accept anything but 100% safety, as an accident always is desastrous.
The country I am living in has banned nuclear power and is producing 30% of its electricity from sun, wind and water. We're feeding our households and our highly sophisticated industrie with this and we don't suffer from blackouts.
Where do you put carbon that comes from burning fossil fuels? What do you do about all the birds are killed by wind farms? what do you do about all the strip mining needed to obtain the rare ores used to make solar cells? It's crazy to see all the people bitching about energy use, who don't actually reduce their own energy use.

if it wasn't for environmentalist nut-jobs we'd have far more efficient nuclear power facilities in America. because of environmentalist we have far more nuclear waste than we need. because of environmentalist we have laws keeping us from building new efficient facilities.
There currently are new, more efficient reactors being built in the US (Summer2, Vogtle3, Watts Bar). Efficiency doesn't mean safety. Any amount of nuclear waste is unacceptable. Are there more things "environmentalists" are guilty for?
F_ky, are you talking about the 30+ year old facilities that are grossly out-dated? i am talking about plants build in this century around the world that produces half the waste of our plants.
Stupid American Government used Uranium based power stations when they should have researched more into thorium powered which are more efficient, produce less waste and run at lower temperatures. The waste also decays faster. They made the Uranium ones because the waste is necessary for nuclear weapons. Politics hey!
Nuclear safety has advanced since then. Even in poor circumstances you'll only get a Fukushima. It could be even more safe by now if people weren't so dead-set against nuclear energy.
pick one jackass it doesn't matter which one they are all better options, you are just another troll trying to be smartass to bad your attempt to look smart makes, you come off as ignorant as fuck, Internet would be a much better place without poeple like you

Irony is delicious.
