They probably don't have a study of voter fraud because they don't know who, if anyone, is committing it because they're not checking ID's in certain states. I think you should have to show ID when you register (although they typically ask when you get your driver's license) and you should have to show it when you vote.

Although I do agree we should allow a larger time slot and give more opportunities to vote and try to get everyone to vote but I just can't see the argument of how asking for ID restricts the vote. The only argument I've heard on it is that it discourages poorer people from voting because they can't afford an ID. It's not like an ID is expensive. My driver's license cost less than $10. You can get a state ID card (at least in KY) too. You don't have to know how to drive. You can also present other forms like a passport or military ID.

I take it you've never had to decide whether to spend $10.00 on food or 'something else". Food will always take precedence. I'm not arguing with you, but just trying to shed light in a different area.

Well I mean yeah I have. But I usually argue food with something else I might want. Of course I choose food anyways, but you still need an ID. There's so many other things that require some type of identification it doesn't make sense to not have one.

It's against the law in California at least, not to have an ID or drivers license.

yeah some states have laws where it's required to show ID. Kentucky does as well. But there are some states that don't require any proof of ID to vote

Fox is so stupid. MSNBC and CNN have their moments also but Fox takes the cake beyond all. Its ridiculous.

have you people seen the video? That bitch spends the whole interview asking why he, a muslim, would write about that, so he ends up listing his degrees to show how qualified he is, clearly pissed because he wants to talk about his book, not justify why he wrote the book. priceless. (although one good thing is, the video of the interview went viral, his book became a huge hit because of it).

Honestly I feel like she meant to ask him, as a muslim what made you interested in studying other religions, specifically Christianity. I could be wrong but that's how it came across to me. Because really I'm kind of curious of that too.

Did you see the video or only the extract? Because that really isn't how I remember it felt. I'd have to rewatch it to be sure tho.

Yeah I watched the whole video. And I said I could be wrong, but I just felt like she might have meant something different and that it was just taken out of context.

It's probably more about the fact that people of other religions don't have to spend a whole interview explaining why they wrote a book about a religion that isn't there's despite it being their job.
