Agh that was me!! When I got into high school, I was like, "studying? What is this 'studying'"?

My mom has been doing this to me forever and even now, as a senior. I'm going to need this for college next year

This is a result of giving awards for participation, lack of intellectual competition in the formative years, No Child Left Behind, coercion of teachers to simply pass students regardless of scholastic performance or behavioral issues, etc.

Before me and a friend were randomly picked to do some tests. I was above average when we got the results. That was also in grade 3 though. And now I'm lucky if I get on the honor roll
