The true American experience

Probably an accidental murder by firework. It's kinda funny, my brother works at a champs store that is closest to the reservations (not as close as it sounds) and after the Fourth of July a bunch of Native American kids/teens came in with lots of extra cash to spend. Normally they make a couple THOUSAND per week on this while people stock up, but they'd been making less than usual. Only a few thousand less than normal. This is all I remember from my brother's story. Still, we love our fireworks THAT MUCH.

what does that have to do with murder

We love big fireworks and buy a lot from native americans. Those are illegal for a reason. We can get a little explosion-happy and accidents happen. And I remember now that this last summer the drought caused them to be banned in fear of starting even more wildfires

Shooting someone is illegal though, I think is what they meant.

and generally hearing gunshots on the streets at night means something illegal is likely happening
