So that's their new excuse for being overweight?
Nevermind the fact that the aquatic ape hypothesis has been thoroughly and soundly debunked because there's no evidence for it.
.
If you ever mention this to others, refer to it as a hypothesis, not a theory. Theories have evidence. A hypothesis is conjecture that doesn't.
Pretty much.
A hypothesis is where scientific research starts. You then move on to formulating experiments to test the hypothesis.
.
Conduct those experiments, collect data and then compare the data to your initial hypothesis. If they agree, you have a valid theory.

Unless she posted this, her face needs to be blurred out because she is obviously being made fun of.

Then her face needs to be blurred out because it's cruel. And this is Funsubstance...not Cruelsubstance.
Ok well let me go out of my way to make an account on tumblr, sift through thousands of users/post, find the OP, politely request that they blur the face of this enormous woman which won't go well, they'll accuse me of saying their face is ugly blah blah blah their feelings, we ll argue for a minute eventually I'll give up, come back here and tell you to deal with it. So let's skip all that and you just go ahead politely look the other way.

No, I will not politely look the other way when people are being made fun of. Where did you get this picture? Did you sift through lots of pictures and thought, "I will go out of my way to post this picture of a HUMAN BEING to make fun of. I will not even think about how she feels if/when she finds this of herself. I will not think about how other cruel people will make fun of her when they find this of her. Stop downvoting me and realize you are a cruel person. Also, won't photoshop blur out her face. I don't know because I've never used photoshop. But my husband does and he blurs out peoples faces when he has to post pictures.

Well aren't you perfect then. If this bothers you you should probably go ahead and get off the internet cuz it's only downhill from here. Oh and I can use photoshop ;)
Also the post is about her ridiculous excuse for her weight. Not that she's actually fat. Now go read it again.
Here's another thought on the matter;
Should you meet one of these overweight people that make the aquatic ape excuse, lead them on this logic chain:
.
"So, you're telling me it really is your genes after all?"
"Yes."
"You are then expressing genes for homo aquaticus, an early ancestor to homo sapiens, correct?"
"Yes."
"Wow. That's bold and brave. What you're telling me is that you are less human than others."
"Umm..."
"If you are more homo aquaticus and less homo sapiens than others... you are devolving. That's crazy you'd admit to being... subhuman."
.
Nevermind that it's still all bullshit because there's no genomic support for this "hypothesis" either, nor has there ever been one single recorded case of human devolution.
