ditto. plus work is over when its over (for most of us) without take home shit to deal with. and i can bid on what times i want to work and shit school was the pitts.

Exactly! Do your job, go home, do as you please, have money to buy your own stuff. Adulthood is pretty great compared to school

plus all the rights and laws that protect you... not saying plenty of workplaces do not take advantage of you, but you are a LOT less helpless than you where as a child when something is unfair.

Yup. It's pretty damn hard to fire an individual today. But it's still likely a whole company can go under/get bought out or absorbed.

It's also about two hours longer per diem than school, and generally once you have a job your parents start charging you rent. Also, unless you're one lucky sod, you get paid... about enough to pay rent and eat. Maybe occasionally visit the doctor. But that might just be because the housing market where I live is absolute shit.

Yeah, you probably just live in a crap place. Also, why would your parents charge you rent? Isn't the entire point of living with your parents to have no rent?

Everybody I knew who moved back in with their parents after college got charged rent? I mean, at a lowered rate, but rent is rent.
