Our generation like 18-30 absolutely hates him. Its the generation thats in their 50s and the hard core "republicans". I honestly cant speak for 30 million people but i do know ted cruz is popular here as well. Me personaly now im starting to like Marco Rubio but idk my choices are crap.
am I the only one here who knows that Trump is not the only GOP candidate? Cruz, Rubio, and Carson are a million times better. Trump is only getting attention because he's outspoken.
carson comes up with some weird "facts" on a pretty regular basis. like not even related to politics (like how trump posts fakes numbers and stats) just random absolutely incorrect "facts". and hes doing some serious pandering, i don't buy for one second that a man of medicine is actually okay with the anti-vaccine crowd for realsies.
I thought it was two terms at four years apiece, FDR was special because he was president during a time of war.
And I thought it was two terms consecutively, so a previous president could run again?
The amendment says a person can only serve as president a max of 2 terms period no ifs or buts. FDR served four terms because that amendment was t even around then. No once you serve two terms you cant run again.
GAY MARRIAGE WASN'T EVEN HIM!!! HE'S TAKING CREDIT FOR IT. It was a supreme court ruling all obama did was say "my fellow americans do you know what a good idea would be" thats all he did. He pulled troops out of Iraq but then ISIS showed up... he did obamacare but that sucks... idk what did he do?
He didn't do anything other things that our government did that was good happened under his presidency so he will get credit because he is the face of the US government
senators serve 6 years and house representatives serve for 2. the idea is that the house focuses more on the immediate needs of voters while the senate has more time to get long term projects done. although our political gridlock right now isn't allowing much of either to happen
Because we have a Republican dominated house and a Democrat as president so they veto each other and there aren't enough republicans to get the three quarters majority needed to override a presidential veto

I'm not a republican, but I am voting in the republican primary for anybody except Trump. Join me in this.
