My cat is also a rescue cat. I was walking to school one day and heard him crying in a dumpster. I was debating whether I should just leave him there or not, since i was already running late. I decided to pick him up and walk back home, even though I was already half way to school. When I got home I gave the cat to my mom, who had no idea what to do with it. Luckily my mom was off that day and was doing research the entire time I was at school. She also went to the store and bought all the cat essentials. We found out the cat was only about 11 days old when the day I picked him up. So I had to bottle feed the cat on a schedule, which would include me waking up in the middle of the night, and do all sorts of other things like make sure he went to the bathroom, burp him, and lots of other things. It was like having a baby. Luckily I didn't screw up (like I always do) and the cat survived. He is already one year old and is named Charlie.

I have a white cat my mother found in a snow storm before i was born, but she follows me around everywhere. She is about 12 now and i love her to death (She's currently biting the side of my laptop as a i write this) :D My mom wasn't sure she wanted a cat at first, so she made a box with food, water, and a blanket, but her best friend eventually told her it was time to get a cat. My other cat recently died, Midnight, and we got him form a barn in Vermont.
