Being overweight is unhealthy, just as being v skinny is unhealthy. There's a different balance that's healthy for each body type. :)

Depending what you consider very skinny. I'm 6'1" and 130 pounds. In freshman year, I had 1.8% body fat. I've never had any health problems though.
