Lol, I did this with a pot roast once. Added too much cayenne pepper. Still ate it, though my nostrils were in much protest. If you guys here don't like to cook, pot roasts are REALLY easy. :) Crock-pots are pretty cheap, and the prep is just cutting the veggies and meat. Toss it in the pot with a bit of beef stock, turn it on high, go to work, and when you come home, PRESTO, your pot roast is all done. :)

Frozen veggies work ok in them too so that's even less prep work.

You should flour the meat and brown it on all sides first, adds a really nice extra layer of flavor. But I definitely love my crock pot!

Sometimes you can add something sweet or acidic or creamy (sour cream, guacamole) to balance out the spiciness.
