It's called Coraline, based on a Neil Gaiman book. You should check it out

In fact, check all of the stuff Neil Gaiman has written, they are pure gold, and anyone who dares tells me otherwise will never be seen.

I was just a kid when I watched this. It really fucked me up. Those fucking button eyes scared the shit out of me

And then someone created those freaky lalaloopsy dolls with the same eyes....

I have a shelf with lalaloopsy dolls on it and I think that's why nine of my friends want to sleep over in my room

I can agree. I lost it when my mom sewed a doll version of me, and used buttons for eyes. To this day whever I see that thing, I cringe, and feel paranoid.

I don't know your parents, but mine weren't like that.

When I was a really young kid I saw a commercial for this movie and I ended up having nightmares for a week so I never actually watched it.

If you were a 'really young kid' when this came out, chances are you're not old enough to be on the internet.

Okay, I just checked, I was 8 when it came out. Not as young as I thought, but I used to get scared really easily so it affected me like I was a lot younger.

I had a fight with my mom after I saw this movie and I had a dream I lived with the other mother and I tried to fight her but she was so nice to me and I actually fell in love with her but she told me I had to go back and I didn't belong there. And I was about to cry when I woke up.
