I think it's slightly different. It's saying you might have solved a problem, but in doing so you took more damage upon yourself than you needed to.

No, it was the right phrase. The anonymous responder said that they have sex with zero people in order to spite the original poster. I could have also said "he sank the boat he owned just to kill the captain" as frostbite said; they have a similar sentiment
Okay, but this doesn't even make sense. Because if your gonna call someone gay (in uneeded douchebagish terms) why would they be mad if your sleeping with girls? If one is gay they don't care to date or sleep with the opposite sex. You just basically proved you don't understand the word gay or the basic concept of gay.
