Why is she asking for money? Agreed - she has more than most.

I see. :/ Whereas a noble cause, she should do it herself, and quietly.

So just because she has money, she should be the only one making a donation?

She probably already donated.

@jaybae2327, well, it does sound somewhat logical that the awfully rich should donate. Who would you ask for money, those wiht 13 cents on their bank accounts?

Yes and no. Just because people have money, doesn't mean they should donate tons of money, but most do. They put these commercials out there to get people aware. Nobody is saying you must donate, but just telling you why you should.

It doesn't mean they necessarily should, it means they can... as opposed to those who are broke and can't. Personally, if I was swimming in money, I would be slightly embarrased to encourage people to donate money while the paparazzi take photos of the diamonds I'm wearing and the 15 houses and 4 islands that i own. Nobody needs that kind of money. It would be thoughtful if they shared it with others instead of having all that shit they don't need or even use.

First of all, the wealth gap isn't so big that there's only the ridiculously wealthy and the piss poor. There is the middle class and thats who the commercials are geared towards, the people that live comfortably and still have a little left over after they've done everything they wanted/needed to with their money. They're the ones encouraged to give back to the community because obviously people with 15 cents can't. Nobody is forcing anyone to do anything, just saying that it is a noble cause and spreading awareness and how better to do than with a famous celebrity? And second, she's probably already donated millions and if she hasn't, you can't say that she has to because it is her money, just like you were insinuating for the poorer people. Yes, no one needs to be that rich, but they are and just because they are doesn't mean poorer people are entitled to their wealth. They did still work for their worth, it just so happens that the business they're in is making more than the

businesses others are in. Entertainment makes a shit ton. Also, going back to the diamond rings thing, she can buy herself rings and wear them. She did donate and considering that she's a nice person, she most likely donated a lot. Saying she can't buy herself diamond rings while talking about donating is like saying a middle class family can't indulge and buy themselves a $40,000 car or go on an expensive trip out of the country because they should spend that extra amount on charity instead. It doesn't make very much sense. Anyways, at least rich people do give back millions to charity, whatever the motivation.

I don't mind if she gets paid, but flashing that much bling is just tacky in this case.

Don't be fooled by the rocks that she's got. She's still, she's still Jenny from the block.
