Band room as in band in school. We're literally like a private cult that no one should know about the activities that go on in there. Frankly I don't think people want to know what the ten different uses of drum sticks are.
And the orchestra kids just sit across the hall like
"What are they doing?" "I have no idea man." "They're loud..." "Yeah..." "Do we-"
"Don't approach. Just Mozart." *conductor raises baton*
Wow, your orchestra gets a different room? Lucky. Our orchestra is in the same room, in a different class time. In our school, a lot of the band kids just sit on the floor in the band hall before class starts, so the orchestra kids are walking past us to put their instruments away and just looking at us like, "Why are you here?" The choir kids are even worse.
I am not in band. A lot of my friends are in band. Even I know not to enter the band room...

Okay, okay, I've been part of my school's band for 2 years now, and in the "Band Room", we have instruments. And more instruments. And that's it. So will one of you motherfuckers please explain why the Band Room holds such significance? I assume it is something sexual. Thank you.
From what my friends who are in band have said, it just seems as though people get real close, real comfy, real fast, when they're in band together. My friend Olive will have fellow band friends just walk up to her, grab her boobs/butt then just walk away. They're just all very close.
