Sometimes with a tablet its nice to have a mouse not necessarily with a phone. Plus, because you can so why not

Yeah its basically like using android in virtualbox also you can download a custom android to install as your pc's os http://www.android-x86.org

Pretty sure that it's plugged into a USB for the mouse. The mouse is wireless.

Android does support a mouse, you can also put android on almost any computer.
