The cheap gas actually is in fact hurting the economy in Russia. Props to Obama, not dissing him though. But in Russia, where oil is the main source of export and income, it has drastically increased the price of other things. Putin had a major role in this, not properly handling the situation.

I thought it was OPEC running private petroleum business out of service so they could re-jack the prices in a few months....
