Although, I've heard that Satan is simply trapped in hell, and he doesn't really have any power over hell, which would suggest that God is the one putting the people in hell. And there are pamphlets that say that the angels cast you into the fires. However, I'm not Christian, so I only know the few things I heard from other people. Everyone probably has different interpretations on this thing.
