There actually is a book kind of like this, its called Between the Lines. Its by Jodi Picoult and Samantha Van Leer.

and there could be spaces in the book where you write to the character, like it would tell you the general idea of what to write so the character could respond accordingly :D

And then the sequel could open up with the main character sitting on the bench crying.

I don't know if this is okay, but I love the idea....I'm gonna make a story out of it...I will try to capture every moment of the potential book as emotional and as realistic as I can possibly write...

So, I started writing a story like this on Wattpad. It is a bit different though. The reader actually gets pulled into the pages of the book by the character. It's called 'The Reader' by @readerssecret
