Ohh, I bet they're an invasive species and it's like the handful of Burmese pythons in Florida (the problem isn't that big, guys, I've gone hunting for those fellows so I can rescue them and found nothing. I was in the everglades for a week and not a sign of a snake anywhere, even though one was fought in the area a few months before) and that's why they're hunting them. Now, I may be wrong about the anaconda thing, I focus primarily on venomous snakes and invasive species in America rather than giant constrictors. ^^
I see why you might think that but there is already a giant snake species in Africa. The Python. So I don't think they are hunting pythons not anacondas. Except if it's invasive anacodas, like something you mentioned, they might be smarter than Americans and actually catch them before they screw up the whole echosystem. But even if so I don't think anacondas can survive in the warm, dry African bosveld (bushfield)
My deepest apologies, I was an idiot and rrreeaaallllyy need to think things through before I post. Sorry, I understand it now, and though I don't like it I'll shut up and stop whining!
***EDIT***
I'm pretty sure I know what I'm talking about, why do you disagree ??
nope.
