Uhh.. Idk what kind of full on steel screwdriver you use.. But mine has a rubber handle.

Or plastic. Also, if you can't handle unscrewing a socket cover then maybe you should just stay away from tools.

Or just switch the electric stuff generaly off so no power is on the socket?

If someone is so thick that they can't safely unscrew a cover like this I doubt they could find the switch to turn off the electricity

You can change the screw yourself they sell Phillips screws that size

You would need to be touching something grounded to get shocked, you can touch the live wire itself and you won't get hit. But I agree all screws should be Phillips head.
