I have a burn scar on my foot from when I was six months old I dragged my mother's curling iron onto my foot. Until I was six, I thought everyone had one on their foot. I was shocked when I noticed my dad didn't have one. He was really confused when I asked what happened to his 'foot brow'. Any one else have an interesting scar story?
I have a motorcycle motor burn on my leg from a crash, and I also have one on my back leg where the knee bends up to my mid thigh from where I feel out of a tree.. luckily you cannot see them unless I am in ice water. but you can feel the scar tissue on my leg. I had a brutal childhood, played way to hard with my cousin and his football friends.
It was kind of terrifying when it happened. He was running around my room at light speed, and then jumped at the window and landed on my face. I didn't realize anything was wrong until I went to wipe off my face (I was like ten and crying) and it came away red and then I went to go get my mom. She was like "whatttt it's 6 AM" and yeah. She just put some cream on it, though, and it was fine.
Sorry Mickey I love you too but I have a bad habbit to hit people on the head when they try and drink me. I have a rose tattoo, a very elegant and simple one but to me it means the world. It stands for my best friend that helped me defeat anorexia. He loved roses and every week he would bring me a red one. He died two years ago, a couple of months after I truly recovered. He was the best and without him I probably wouldn't be here anymore
Vodka, I am sorry to hear that your friend passed, I know that feeling all to well.
On a much happier note! CONGRATS on defeating and overcoming anorexia. I know 2nd hand how scary and hard it is, I had a friend pass from it. so Bravo to you for overcoming it and having someone who loved you so much to help you see how amazing you are and at the same time gave you the extra strength.
Big Hugs!
I have a scar between my boobs just near where my heart is, which was when I met my friend's cat for the first time and she pounced on me. When I tell my guy friends that they're like "Ooh, can I see it ;)" and I'm like "Haha, nice try"
I honestly find tattoos more interesting, plus they tend to be more noticeable than scars do. However, both scars and tattoos have very interesting stories behind them.
Oh, for sure, some are. Most of the time, at least from what I've seen, they're garbage. That, or they're just very colorful bullshit designed by some kid with too much money (possibly their parents), and not enough to do.
yea, I have noticed a huge trend on the overly colorful meaningless tattoos. the lady I work with just got a massive back piece, it looks cool and all. but I swear she was on acid or something when she picked the design, it's a horrible mess.
