Cassadee Pope, aka lead singer of Hey Monday auditioned for The Voice and won while famous. I think it was after the band broke up. She is flying solo now. She isn't super famous like many others but she's pretty famous and well known. More as a band than with just her. But yeah, a famous person already did the voice.

Dia frampton was from the band meg and dia they had a one hit wonder and Charlotte sometimes had a record deal and a couple albums before she auditioned.
