no in a lucid dream you do what ever the hell you want, but the problem (for me, at least) is that the more extreme things you do, the more thinking it requires so I suddenly wake up. Think of it like an old computer playing video games, it can render simple things like an orange juice, but crashes when you try flying through a maze of hotdogs (worst letdown ever, I almost had the best dream ever).
