Maybe this girl is going through a very rough time in her life where she's very bitter especially towards others but church and praying is her only escape. Maybe she has a child with cancer. Maybe she just lost a sibling or best friend to suicide. Stop judging

the saddest thing is if you give something to the homeless, something expensive, they'll just beat beaten up so others could have it or accused of stealing it.

This is very contradictory, and this is coming from an atheist (so I'm not religiously involved). Going to Church is an action, praying for people, is an action. You can be a good person by being religious because you're showing dedication to something/someone. And if it doubles and improves your life by giving it purpose, all the better.

Action also determines whether or not you're really religious, if you ask me.

You can be a good person and not be religious. You can also be a bad person and be religious.

I agree with your first statement, but nit yiur second one. If you aren't living your religion, you're not religious. That seems pretty obvious to me. It doesn't matter that you wear a cross or even read the Bible and go to church. If you don't do the religion, you aren't religious.

Atheists can be mean people too. Why do people always default to the image of a Christian when they want to represent a bad person?

Because atheists don't tell people they disagree with that they will burn for all eternity unless they become like them. They don't pretend to have all the answers on morality. They don't believe bad deeds can be wiped away by giving money or confessing to a church. Who you are defines you. Not how well you follow archaic rules.

1) That's good, neither do all religious people. But there are plenty of atheists that are just as insulting. 2) I'd say atheists "pretend" about as often as anybody else. But most people don't "pretend" very often at all -- they simply tell it like they really see it. 3) Again, neither do all religious people. In fact most don't believe that indulgences can be sold.

Really? I am Christian, and I pay tithe and confess- it is the only way to be forgiven. If atheists can't be, that is sad, but the teachings are clear.
