asshole people using any semblance of authority or justification to justify their actions so in their eyes they're not bad people (or they're so far gone they like being assholes)

Personally I like JoCat's interpretation of Con as "chonk" and it's honestly the best interpretation of a stat i've seen in a while.

The ability to stand out on top in chaotic times is the kind of security people want. Access to guns gives people that sense of security.

Just use a slingshot to kill some pigeons or doves. Light meat, very tasty

true it could be anything. you can't assume immediately assume it's a substitution of anything. but then again with any code cracking you need context and something to reference to.
so how would this code be cracked assuming we knew nothing about it except this text and the image provided?

OP you've never seen the OG then. The elote man. He has everything. Lemonade, horchata, and tamarind water, elotes with all the toppings, candy, name brand popsicles in a dry ice box, chicharrones with all the salsa you could want. Beats the ice cream truck any day.
I remember when I was a little kid there was a pastry truck. They'd sell churros. They'd always sell in the night too. I haven't seen that truck since moving out of the area and i haven't seen one like it since. I miss that truck.

Honestly cutting the throat of an animal is a grounding experience. It's a bit like, "*gulp* look at it die. I killed that thing. " But once you pluck those chicken feathers and you see a big fat chicken leg you kinda forget about it.
