PETA never does any real research, and have you seen PETA kids? I would have been scarred for life reading those articles as a kid.

"lain"? no, no, no. "laid".
'lain' is the past participle of the past tense 'lay'.
'laid' is the past tense of the present tense 'lay' (like "lay an egg"; therefore "has laid an egg" by, err ... 'something related to the chicken'

Most of y’all never had to grow up with parents who were so harsh, as an adult when you confronted them to you get to tell them that growing up in their house was like growing up in prison, or a concentration camp. I call my parents Hitler and Ava, and I don’t speak to them anymore. I don’t, really, love them anymore except for that lingering attachment you just really get rid of. I wish I’d had different parents.. better yet I wish I had never been born

You’re all stupid, and you can’t convince me otherwise, so shove your hypersensitivity.. if two people who are “together” - literally “together” enough that they’re sleeping in the same bed can’t kiss each other gently and lovingly while one is asleep without it being called rape, society has gone too far. Beliefs like these are starting to border on mental illness. You guys need more help than people kissing each other. Find something valid to complain about.

God this meme hurttttt. One of the most magical things I remember about my ex was waking up next to her one morning, and without even thinking - it just seemed like the natural thing to do - the very first thing I did after opening my eyes was gently lean over and kiss her on the cheek. And with her eyes still closed, the most natural, fulfilled happy smile appeared on her face. I miss her so, so much.

Money can't buy happiness 2 comments

that's not even what it means. this is just political virtue signalling. it means that money will not make you happy because there are more important things in life than money and you also need to choose to be happy. that's literally what it means. it's not attacking rich or poor people.

Fun fact: when the civil rights act came out in 1967 a man sued the federal government for making him provide beds in hotel to black people. After losing his Supreme Court case he closed the hotel. He would have rather lost his entire business than allowed black people to pay him money for his services.

The Japs were big on this "honor" bullshit. It was considered honorable to take their own life after a defeat. There was no honor in getting hanged by the enemy. As a war criminal he did not deserve to die with honor so we did not allow him to. Simple.

Although African Americans are yelling the loudest about police brutality (because of all the deaths of young Black people), the cry is not "police brutality against Blacks." Police methods should be reexamined country wide as they're applied to everyone. And if we could get OTHER races to see that too, then we'd really feel like all lives mattered.
