once a similar thing happened to my mum, except some other customer offered to pay when her card didn't seem to work. she was embarrased as hell and she thanked him like 5 times. it could happen to anyone and there's no shame in accepting help when someone kindly offers it. what this girl said, tho, taht's fucking shame on the next 2 generations + ancestors + cow.
