Okay so what I know is that originally Metro Exodus was listed on the Steam store for purchase, but a ways through the preordering they made a deal to launch exclusively through the Epic game store. After they had already taken preorders through Steam. So they agreed to take the game off Steam but to honor the purchases of everyone on Steam who had already ordered through that service. Everyone was angry about the change, but all reference to Steam was removed to try to soften their blunder. Just tells you how late I’m the game the decision was made. (Feel free to correct me!
