Totally agree; some men want sex and some want relationships, and it’s the exact same thing with women. Neither is a bad thing to want.

You may be right about some cases where women are put in as a show of “representation” but that’s not real feminism. The same as hiring someone who is black just because they’re black isn’t equality. Real feminists just want women to have the same chances as men; perhaps numbers of women who go into areas of producing and directing are still low, but that doesn’t mean that their films aren’t worthy of winning. And of course they should still win on their merit, and not just because they’re women. Don’t undermine a genuine moment just because you’ve listened to extremists.
