That was weird for my downvote as well, haha. I wonder if I get downvoted because of my idea about “everyone should be taking care of its own taxes”? Or because tipping on pre-tax amounts is offending someone who are either getting used to be tipping post-tax? Or because it is offending someone who is on the receiver side?
Also, I am sure if I am asking anyone out of vague “are you white/black/asian” without any explanation, everyone would think I am a racist. No matter how many sentences I explain it later. Hope it helps with your choices of word next time. And I sincerely wish you won’t need to name yourself “old fart” to defend against yourself in the future because naming yourself such does not sound nice to elderly people as well. (Consider if I say “I am Chinese please forgive me”, I am pulling down standards of other Chinese as well)
