Man. If you look away from what the media is showing you, you will see that women here wear their abayas as capes (nothing is after sully covering their clothes) and no one ever stops them. Women don’t even need permission from anyone to leave their homes; they literally just leave with a purse, call a taxi and go to the mall or something without telling anyone and no one does or says anything about it (not even the religious police who are about to be abolished soon). When I went to the mall I saw a teenage girl with an abaya on her that had only the button under the neck on so everything was showing and her jeans were ripped up to the point where there was more leg than pants and no one did/said anything about it. Then again, Islam has warned us that this is going to happen so i’m not really surprised.

I actually am. I’ve been living in Saudi Arabia for the past 12 years and I’d much rather live here than all the western countries I’ve visited.
