Once this guy and I had an arguement that because we know what God is, God must be real... I argued that doesn't prove the existance of God, but rather the existance of the concept of God. I asked, okay well with that logic are unicorns, dragons and ghosts real. He argued yes, they must be. I walked away.

I'm sorry but what the hell does this mean. "Smart girls know their worth" but they are insecure? So are you saying they are worthless enough to be insecure? Is anyone really "smart" who does that. Wouldn't the actually smart girls be the ones who build up their esteem to a point they think is healthy, to a point they see themselves with their flaws but also how those flaws don't effect their worth as a person. I don't believe insecurity proves respect, don't romantisize that shit. Insecurity hurts and it's pointless. Smart people either fix their flaws or don't worry about them. They don't agonize, they do or accept.

You don't need feminism. Okay whatever. Cool. But how about we stop being so self absorbed and thinking about me, me, me and try and become global citizens? Because sure, your life might not have oppression due to gender, but that doesn't mean no one's does. Downvote all you want, but this message is just perpetuating the us vs. them idea in first world countries where we ridicule actual advocacies in the world because they don't apply to us. And to the people who say you aren't doing or fixing anything, thats giving power to the oppressive body by saying well you are so poweful we are going to pretend your issues don't exist because we can't fix them. Also, if you want to help there are so many ways ie Women for Women.
